As Mick correctly pointed out, I think a post in this topic is way overdue! Well... I think impulse buy is all I need to say... Though it was only $65, and I am very happy with them...

Also, don't get me started on how the youngin's in the first world have gone to hell (being so quick to advertise their body... among other things...)

Here in Adelaide so far this week its varied from 3C to 7C overnight and 13C to 15C during the day, but it certainly feels colder with that lazy wind.
!! In looking up temp information on finches I often see it said that most species shouldn't get below 18C?

Yea Sierra old advice. Even with gouldians I've found it's just draughts that knock thEm. I think strawberrys are pretty cold sensitive.

But anything else only the draughts a wind concern me

My birds have "sheltered accomodation" Roll down blinds to cut the wind factor down.
