Sorry to hear about the Butcherbird experience. I've had a few issues with them myself, costing a few Bichenos and Ruddies. I've also had issues with Choughs scaring my little finches, but that's a different story. I agree with the others, best not to poison the Butcherbirds as much as just keep them away. As they say, prevention is better than cure, and CDs will definitely do as intended.
Hi, I just lost my male Cordon Bleu 2 nights ago. He escaped and died before I was able to find him. My hen is beside herself searching for him, and I am so sad for her. I want to get another male, but want to know if she will accept him. If so, I would gladly buy yours if you can ship to San Diego?
