Wouldn't mind trying some, but the postage seems a bit on the expensive side. An AusPost satchel takes up to 3kg and costs about $8 or $9

Edited to correct price of satchels after a look at a AuPost site they are now $11.20
Bought mine quite a while ago.

Might be worth while if the seeds are able to be grown ...bit on the pricey side though.
Is postage that dear ?

the biggest bag of seed is 500g and even in a satchel it should only cost $11.20 that covers weight up to 3 kg.
The AusPost site here lets you work out how much things should cost

I paid $8.00 for a 800g parcel (breakable) to be sent this week .
His postage is a bit off ... totally agree with you Di .

So does anyone know if the seed could be grown this far south ?

Beside the freight cost, Is this the seed gouldians thrive on in the wild ?

Too bad Digitaria milanjiana is introduced into Australia, native to tropical East and southern Africa..

EDIT...A lot of work went into that, interesting if you are into Bustards but my quick look couldn't find mention of a gouldian. :?
