Anything under $2/kg is good over in here in the west. But we don;t have such complicated licencing systems. You win some you lose some.

yep certainly does take a while to get 20kg by the pocket full or boot full get more in my boots lol mum yells at me for the sprouted seed in the washing machine hehehe

Try either nutri wing in W.A or wildlife supplies in Q.L.D or your local rural suppliers maybe able to source it.

Thank you for the links! Merrylands Produce (now in Parramatta) no longer keeps Australian Niger seeds, every time I call they say the locally grown Niger seeds is way too expensive to stock. The W A (link) sells a 25 kg bag for $120, comparing with the Canary Mix which sells for around $35 can't say it's cheap! Strange, that the Perilla seeds are still not available from the farm produce suppliers in Australia, but the plants are grown and the seeds are available!
