We didn't come home empty handed we got another 4 bay cabinet for $50 but it needs a lot of work dad said.

Dad and i went out today to buy a pair of Zebras for the cabinet but our supplier had no birds left, he said all the local pet shops where buying birds,he did not even have any budgies left.We rang another dealer and he said the same thing............

Oh but. 
You and Dad could not go shopping and come home empty handed. 
Sounds like you need to work out Mums favourite finch and buy her her own pair to get her onside.

I was told a few days ago that its getting very hard to source finchs at the moment as everyone is keeping them for breeding as they have all nested.My guys are all building or sitting so it makes sense .
yesterday morning I got a few pairs of orange breasts and 1 pair have alredy started a nest
..The female was a bit bald on the head but she and the male were snuggled up grooming eachother so I figured they wanted to be together.brought the 6 home and within an hour that pair were checking out a basket and by tonight its all lined ,so hopefully it will be a good result for the 2 lovebirds and me!
