Just met forum member Matt!
He was passing through Canberra, and brought me some birds: 2pr of saints and a hen parrot finch! so excited! here are some pics of the newbies:
Yet to name them, but I'm sure Fat Phil (male parrot finch) will be happy to see his intended mate! finally he can stop harassing the zebras ( :wtf: )

Now this one isn't a bird I bought, but he is a new bird. This is Buzzer, Buzz or buzz-butt for short :D he fledged a few days ago.

This used to be a really good picture - but I had to make it smaller

thanks everyone :D
desertbirds, I have given the bloke a ring and I will be dropping by soon to collect som moxi.
Mickp :D I don't think so :shh: ;-)
FB tricky question. no, i didn't and be alienated to Buzz or yes I did and re-think his name :D
Danny - yes there are two pairs in the cage, 2 fawn hens and 2 normal males :) . from what I've seen regarding breast colouring and undertails in my fawns, all seems to be in order.

All are fine this morning, and my parrot finches can hear each other - he's going mad in the aviary, not being able to see her!!!

Nice choice of birds for the new aviary. Matt has good looking birds. Thumbs up for delivering to Canberra for Jayburd. Another bonus of the forum.

Hope they go well for you Jayburd.

I'd recommend Matt at the drop of a hat. Good setup and puts a lot of effort in. And willing to show you round or answer answer any questions too.
