tbird wrote:Well I spoke to my neighbour about his cat and he was very apologetic. He said he would move everything on his side of the fence that may be helping the cat climb. He also offered to put some sticky stuff along the fence that cat's don't like the feel of. I have managed to source some "Thorny Devil" which I will add to the fence tops if his sticky stuff doesn't work. So a big thumbs up to my neighbour Pete!

now you just gotta have the same successful conversation with harry, Sally , tom ,bob ,mary ,mrs thompson and those other 3 down the street, also cats can climb nearly anything or get under it. good luck

Apply some of the really sticky stuff just behind the wheel of your car just in case it doesnt work on the fence . Give the neighbour the big thumbs up for his idea and his compassion shown to your problem. :silent:

it's realy interesting stuff about the big black cats. There have been many sitings of this big cat in Victoria, if you look at this google search you will learn how they came to Austalia and were there have bees sitings etc. Very interesting and hard to not believe. Believe it or not these cats are living in the victorian wilderness, and there has been many sittings over the years.

what confuses me is that one of the most often cited and credible explanations of their existence - the liberation of puma cubs born to mascots of the RAAF - only explains how pumas could be in the australian wilderness. but 90% of sightings are of large black cats described as "panthers". now for those in the know pumas, unlike leopards and jaguars, are not known to exhibit melanism. and therefore the liberation of pumas cannot accurately explain the existence of melanistic leopards.

don't get me wrong - it is entirely plausible. just in my mind unlikely.

Better still put the VapoRub all over the cat and it will run away forever, hopefully disappearing up it's own @&$e.

I wonder if this will prevent it from getting cat flue? :shifty:
