I follow the ABK book on gouldians with regards to seed mixes at various stages of the gouldian cycle. One of the seeds mentioned is hungarian millet, I have not yet seen it around. Also red millet is suggested, which I didn't find so use red panicum. Are millets and panicum comparable (the size of the seeds is quite different so not sure if they are equivalent in terms of nutrition). And what are groats?
What seed mixed do people use for gouldians at the various stages?
Thanks. :)

I probably should Google before I speak but I would think there's little diffence in nutritional value between the grass seeds, that said the size of the embryo does vary and so in smaller seeds it would account for a larger proportion and so be more nutritious so perhaps I've been hasty in my assessment.

Groats are dehulled cereals usually it referrs to oat but it mitght equally apply to pearled barley or spelt grains.
