As interesting as this post is, we all know that a wild flock of mixed macaws is not a viable scenario in the Australian bush. There would be no suitable foods and it's just not their habitat. Particularly ones that have been captive bred. These that eat bread on car roofs so close to people would be caught very quickly. This post has been going on for six pages and with forty eight replies I would have thought we would be closer to solving the mystery by now. Nathan can you just ask your father where it was and stop all the mystery and intrigue so that it can be resolved and whoever owns the birds can put them away and rest assured that they are not going to be inundated with people and their nets trying to make a quick dollar.

Oh what a tangled web we weave... :shifty: .......But thanks for the entertainment!

Well I dont know Nathan , I dont know who was watching you watch the birds.

I think the least that could have been done ( you were obviously much younger in the photos so not accountable at all ) is that the flock be reported to whatever Govt Dept is in charge of such matters .

I think the best thing for you to do now is ask your step Dad where it happened so that perhaps other forum members living nearby can find it an assess the situation .

Like I said before you need to put more info up when you start a topic ...please
