Very well behaved , they travel really well when they have their seat belt /harnesses on .
They are top little travellers , never really need a leash , do what they have to and back in the car ...love my little poochies .

My pair of Purples were so tame and quite, parent raised. If I had to catch them by hand they would not struggle or bite at all. Such a nice bird. I found there was a surplus of hens for some reason. If you could find a breeder with them. Many times I contacted Lorry breeders asking about them only to be told "we dont keep them anymore" normally because of their low dollar value compared to other species of parrots.
I hope you are successful with them.

They are extremely friendly little birds , they dont bite when I catch them by hand and will sit on the food shelf while I change food dishes just chattering away at me .

Love their personalities . I cant go near the aviary with the hose without them following me waiting for a shower .

Dont know why they are hard to find , I suspect a lot of trading amongst established breeders .
