Thanks Jay, yeah they do but they are at the other end of Sydney about 1hr drive.
I am down south, and all the regular haunts have just standard premix only.

I drive to Boggabri about twice a year & get seed, a 5 hr drive, & load up the ute with 6 months worth at a time, so may be worth the hour for a couple of months worth. I think Elenbee can organise freight, so may be worth looking at.Lukec wrote:Thanks Jay, yeah they do but they are at the other end of Sydney about 1hr drive

Hi Lukec, I also live in the Sutherland Shire and I went to Enfield Produce I think they will mix seed for you. I got about 5 different seed mixes and I just put them all in together. The place I get most of my seed from is from Petfood and Wire Sales Unit 15/19-21 Seton Rd, Moorebank.NSW 2170. 9822 8840 he has a big range of bird seeds in different size bags. I also buy a 20kg bag of fine grit for $22 he has all sorts of nests, nesting material. I find he is much cheaper than other bird shops.

Luke I also live in sutho shire I mostly use golden cob finch mix and even that is hard to find around here.
I usually make the trip out to elenbee a few times a year as there new green and grains is relished by my birds.
If you give them a ring I know that they attend the budgie club at bexley I think ,once a month and they will bring any seed out for you as long as you pre order.
Cheers

Luke, given you have siskins, did you by chance buy some niger from Elenbee?
I was told they have the last remaining Aussie niger. All the imported stuff has been zapped and doesn't sprout. If you did buy some would you mind trying to sprout a handful to confirm that it is viable.
