just watched it thought it was ok but could of gone longer so by the look need to paint the heads to the same colour to the hens then

yes head color to head color its been known for years . but some people just dont listen . when i had them i had them seperated in the end but at first they were all mixed up till i moved house and divided them up and bingo went from 4 pair 2 red 1 black 1 yellow to 25 pair in two years. they breed like flies........pete

yeh it is over here in WA our local finch society u can actually sponsor one pay somethen like $30 or somethen then come breeding season you get to know if its nesten in and wat comes out of it

Should all be aware of the plight of gouldians in the wild hey....have a plan in my head that ( fingers crossed ) if I get a successful breeding programme happening that I should donate money from each sale to the save the gould fund..
not sure if I heard correctly but I think on catalyst they said only 3000 wild birds remaining yikes thats not very many considering that they have to contend with weather , predators , envionment issues and illegal trapping....
