I was inspecting all my zebra finch nests today and noticed one of the babies in there looks as if it is very heavily pied with only very small fawn markings. It still has a few days before it fledges but I'm not sure if it's better to have more pied or what??
I will post up pics once it fledges.

The amount of pieding is random but by preeding strong pied to strong pied it is possible to get a bird that is so nearly white as not. Best to cross back to a normal when this happens if you want some colour back in the chicks.
