made me laugh, my little female jacarini is usualy a very shy girl yet tonight shes out crashing around trying to catch a huge bogong type moth  .It is about the same size as her so I have no idea how she thinks shes going to eat it .
I realy admired her optimism but ended up poping it outside before she hurt herself hitting the bars trying to grab it and shes had to settle for a dish of mealworms

pretty confident she was planing to eat it!! .Thats why I put it outside as I thought she would pick pieces out of it and not kill the poor thing outright. She was happy with her mealworms though ...I have seen her catch moths a couple of times before but never crashing around so eagerly I admired her courage, and the moths he just kept moving out of her way but was hopelessly attracted to the light in cage.
