Do bonded breeding pairs breed with others? And when people have colonies do they just let them breed with eveybody ?

i have a colony , i have 10 zebs and 2 stars , before i put them in the avairy i paired them up in breeding cabnits for two weeks after that and once i new they were paired i placed them in the avairy , i have had 2 clucthes over last 6-8 months of ever pair and they have only breed with each other , it seems to work out really well , they only sleep in the boxes with the paired up mate , and they only breed with a pair up mate , so i think a colony is great !

So I can keep some of my babies without fearing of incest , as long as same sex obviously great , Thanks Harvey. Also Ive been offered 2 Strawberry Hens , which i should really grab as havent seen many around and always wanted, but I have Breeding pair of O/B do you think this is too risky ? Would like them in the main Avairy but if too risky they;ll go in other one
