spilt parson white female breeding

Hi there, I have pair of parsons male is normal colour but spilt (as told)and female is white i was told that the off spring from this is opposite so if you breed a white parson it will be male ,and a normal looking parson will be a spilt hen is this right ? and can i put one of these birds (have bred a normal looking parson)with a normal parson to breed? Thanks for your help

If white in Parsons is sex linked. Any white birds would be the opposite sex of the white parent. But I don;t know if white Parson is sex linked. Oops, reread the post. Like madhatter said. What I said only applies if one parent is white and one is normal.

Assuming it is sex linked, a split cock to white hen pairing would produce 25% white cocks, %25 split cocks, 25% white hens and 25% normal hens
