Hi everyone,
I'm looking for wild-type zebs to supplement my colony. Ideally after 10-12 birds (preferably 8 females and 4 males). I only have wild-type zebra finches; several are wild caught (I have a permit) and about 80% of them are descended from wild-caught parents. I haven't had a single mutant colour show up.
I will probably be selling some of my birds next year, so if you're interested in wild-type normals, then let me know

Have you tried sending a PM to Desertbirds, he was thinking of getting some wild-type Zebs from the Desert Park were he works, there is an ad on here somewhere for it.

The birds weren`t from work VR but i did get quite few pairs and they are normals, very nice too i might add  . They have been sold but popped out a few young ones while waiting for the freight boxes. The birds are going to a forum member so when he breeds some im sure he will post a few for sale.I can organise a few more pairs but not sure if it will be this side of Christmas.

Welcome, Niki. I'd love to take any excess birds you may have.
I was hoping for some of DBs' wild zebs, but it seems I have missed that boat....

You'll get tremendous assistance here if you need any help with your small friends.

Good to see an interest in the wild types building and them becoming more available . Could this be the dawn of something GOOD .
