I think I need to be keeping a record of birds bought and clutches but dont know what questions would be relevant...
Looked on the net but they all want $$$ for software so Im just going to type it up myself .
Anyone have a list of info I should be keeping for the future??? cheers

how many of the type of bird u have
how many young they had yearly
how many u sold
how many u lose by death or sumthin

I am using a free software package called BirdData you can download it from http://www.arcatpet.net
It has different catagories for different species, individual bird records, and records for pairings where you can enter the dates for eggs laid etc
Im using this at the moment and for a free no limit prgram Im more than happy with it.
I do also have some "pedigree forms" that I use as a paper backup.
If you want to take a look at the "pedigree form" just send me a pm with your email and Ill send them to you
