Ive been a bit frugle with my finches and given them wire cylinders made from scraps .
They have filled them up and are happily breeding in them .

For a number of years I used cubes made of folded and stapled cardboard from cut up cartons. They were disposable so when the birds fledged ..throw the whole thing out and make a new one.
