Its killing me not having the birds. Even thought about setting my weavers up, they at a friends place in his holding aviary, as it seems such a waste to not let them have a go.
The big move might be closer than expected.

I;m going to sit down and have a little weep. I buy my seed by the sack. 40 kg Plain canary, White Millet, Panicum. Also the lesser weight sacks of Jap Millet and black sunflower. This is because I have lots of budgies then lesser numbers of Gouldians, Weiros canaries and quail. The reason I shall cry is that my seed costs me twice and some, three times the prices on 'Cheap seed list'. I belong to a mixed bird club and the seed is bought in bulk for the members monthly from a wholesale supplier, much cheaper then retail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember having paid $88 a 40 kg bag of plain canary years ago during drought.
