First quails for the season

Well finally my first quail egg hatched yesterday for the season and Im just about to go out and check if anymore had hatched. I will get some pics when I can.
Ps. They are VERY cute!!! :D

still 4 eggs left to hatch. not sure if there gonna hatch or not because the mum started incubating whilst she still had more eggs to lay so i might get lucky tomorrow or something.

Sadly they both didnt make it :( I think they may have been stampled on by the other 2 quails in the cage.

:cry: :cry: so sorry to hear that FM...
whenever I get baby quail once they've all hatched I move them into a big plastic storage container (you know, the rectangular opaque ones) with mouse bedding in the bottom, as well as an upside down flowerpot with a hole cut in it as a doorway.
I only put the mother in with the chicks, just to be safe.
The boxes are only $12 or so, might be worth investing?
