two pictures from five minutes ago. he looked as if he was trying to get to the tea tree I hung just inside.
Finches were checking him out, no harm done. Lovely! :D :D

nice to have them vist. makes a change from starlings, sparrows, mynahs, a large family of australian ravens thatare rearing chicks. I also noticed a family of breeding willy wagtails today! young just fledged!

Beautiful bird. We don't get them around here, just 28s and ? rainbow lorrikeets.

thanks guys :D yeah it wasn't interested in the finches, not even the OBs that came up and said hi.
W used to have regular visits form 28s and red capped parrots while we lived in perth.... beautiful birds red caps :D never seen an aviary specimen look quite as good as a wild one.
