Many years ago I had a hybrid 'turn up' in a large aviary
It was the offspring of a mix of Cordon / Blood / Saint . . I could never be sure which 2 of the 3 species were the parents, as its shape and mannerisms seemed similar to all of them at times, and the coloration didn't give any definite clues
So it seems that a Saint x Cordon is a distinct possibility
It was given to a lady who had quite a collection of hybrids in a reasonably sized aviary
She didn't attempt to breed with them, and had quite a few, as other breeders would pass on their 'accidents' to her
Hybrids are interesting, if nothing else, and just like you and I, did not choose their parents
PS . . . This is in no way an endorsement of the DELIBERATE breeding of hybrids . . . but sometimes we are a bit paranoid about them

I have known what rape seed was since I was far too young to know what the other kind of rape was
And as for Canola, had never heard of the stuff untill the politically correct got loose. So it was rape seed when I was a kid and it still jolly well is.
As for birds, well the only cases of rape I have wittnessed have been when a cock who had been without a hen for a reasonably long period of time has discovered a new hen is now present. And no the hen has not always been of the same type. Fortunately no accidents have turned up as a result.
