how to get budgies to eat veggies

how do u get budgies to eat veggies i been giving them carrot(grated), lettece and celeary choped?
any help would be great

Budgies eat seeds. Buddhists eat vegetables.

what? budgies dont just eat seed they need a mixed diet

Try them on grass seed heads or a small piece of broccoli or sweet corn.

like tintola said , try them on seed heads and brocoli and corn, no point waisting the vegies if they are not going to eat it, have you tired putting a few pieces in a dish sprinkled with some seed over it ....pete

What the others just said and NO lettace it can cause stomach upsets particularly in baby budgies if you misjudge and overfeed or leave it too long. Very touchy vege lettuce where a lot of birds and animals are concerned.
