Fincho and NRG how about you each send a series of say 10 photos of a particular family of finches to Di right now  for the next newsletter.
Tintola think you need to do some bike riding to build up your legs.

Hello All,

In retospect, I probably had the idea for a calender too late in the year. However, I am more than happy to continue this idea, but more so on a bird brerders perspective. My thoughts are each month ; we have tips/advice and ideas...for example. "by February, all gouldians should br paired up, if cage breeding".
I'm thinking at this early stage it will be a July to June calender, which means more information weighted towards the latter part of the year.

No doubt, I will need to contact the moderators of AFF to discuss the aims and goals of this little venture.

I will need the help of all members of this site, with their thoughts, advice and most importantly pictures...I will give an email address in the next couple of weeks, after I have the go ahead from the powers at be.

Please let me stress, that this calender/ideas/information publication, can only be achieved with the help of the membership.I hope that this will be something that we can be proud of, and a great endorsement of finch breeding around the world. It's up to all of us to make this worthwhile.

Cheers
Ripley

If the idea is instant gratification the calanders could be produced starting any month on the Shutterfly site and can be produced on an individual basis which saves the problem of excess stock since whihc is the price that's paid when you get then done cheaply via bulk order.
