Hand raised Mallee Ringneck
but he does the sam thing with all seeds but yet when I put him in his cage a digs into his seeds he just wont take them from my hand. He doesent seem to enjoy scratches on the head that much unlike my handraised Female cockatiel she loved scratches on the head. I cant seem to find anything to positvly rienforce her with.

I would get onother femail if I was going to get one of the above do you think that would work?.

Completely random comment, but have you tried dried pawpaw? The birds at my work go nuts for it, as they only get it around once a monthNathan Morleyy wrote:but he does the sam thing with all seeds but yet when I put him in his cage a digs into his seeds he just wont take them from my hand. No all you will end up with is 2 hand reared birds with problems . Try squeezing the pine nut to get to the soft inner part . Is it eating seed at all ?
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

My galah goes nuts for peanuts in the shell, dried fruits, pine nuts but also responds well to a scratch or just softly spoken words, they all have different things and it will take a bit of trial and error till you find what they like, even something like a piece of toast might work.
