After 62 years in Aviculture, Breeding Finches, Canaries & a few Neophemas We are downsizing and moving to a Retirement village.
It was sad parting with all my birds but I will have two canaries to remind me of a life time's enjoyment & pleasure with our feathered friends.
Reg Baker.
Old Age.

Good wishes for your retirement. Very sad to have to part with most of your birds. Hope you will still join us here to get your "fix".

One door closes , another opens . Enjoy your retirement Reg and please share your lifetime of experience and knowledge with us often .

Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

I've seen some of these retirement villages and most have room enough for a small aviary. Sometimes they actively encourage the building of an aviary in one of the communal areas for all the residents to enjoy. Maybe you could be the "curator". I'd look into it! You might be surprised at the response as they are all about quality of lifestyle nowadays.

OH LORD, SAVE ME FROM YOUR FOLLOWERS!

Many thanks for all the good wishes on our move to a retirement village.Keeping my computer so I can still access this great web site.
