I know I know Finch Forum Finch Forum bit Im about to strangle my Quarrion if he doesnt stop pulling the feathers out of the babies and now the hen is copping it....have put him in the sin bin but now am worried if hen will feed 2 babies born 15th May.
Never again Ill leave the breeding to the outdoor birds , these buggers dont know how to act like birds .

Hen should probably feed babies ok. We just lost a hen who had 5 babies. The dad has been feeding them all on his own for 2 weeks now. We lost 1 baby, but that quite often happens when there is so many babies anyway.
All past experience we've had, the remaining parents is generally pretty good at continuing on the feeding.

update babies are in their own cage and feeding well on seed , endive and apple . Father hasnt stop squawking for days , never ever ever again indoor birds are not breeding again. :
