Welcome to the forum. How many avairys do you have? And are your Chestnuts and Spiced housed seperately?

congrats on your choice of finches, i have those varieties also, feed them seeding grasses and they will love you for it..... :thumbup:

I have 4 aviaries with chestnuts and spice separate for obvious reasons

You are obviously a newbey to the site and not finches. Which of course was the point of the question.

I agree, nice choice in finches. I am a big fan of all of them.

Welcome Geoff,
A very nice selection of finches. It is good to see another fincher keeping the very under rated but beautiful Spice finch. These finches are in decline in Australian aviculture and in the wild within Australia.
I hope you enjoy this forum.
I am interested in purchasing any of the more unusual Lonchura species and/or their subspecies. Particularly the Asian Munias or New Guinea Mannikins. If you have some and wish to sell them, PM me with the type, quantity and price

I will buy related or unrelated birds. I am also happy to organise and pay freight from anywhere in Australia.
