havent been able (or game enough) to try and peek into this pairs nest. but I can hear the racket being made by the youngsters from 10m away.
stood outside the aviary watching for 10 minutes and they didnt stop, even with both parents going in & out feeding them continuously.
it actually appeared like the parents were going from feed dish to nest then back again. wish I could peek, just want to know how many and roughly how old guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer

I think that they make the most noise off all the Australian finches.I to have a heap of yellows,Trying to cut back a few pairs off them.

hi there yeh gouldians can be noisy but dont think as noisy as plumhead finches have got both in babies atm and reckon the plumheads ar the louder one

My gouldians are on eggs at the moment - they are normals. Wish i lived closer I would love a pair or two of the yellows. My favourite is the yellow headed white breasted yellow.
