Ok i have a PROVEN pair of gouldians. In mint breeding condition. Hens beak is grey. The male has already built the nest.

The cage is 3ft long and i have given them the nest they prefer to breed in. They have been like this ooooh 3 monthes? Conditions are great. As i have the heating on etc.

They are on a good seed diet with plenty of niger seeds. Brocalli and fresh fruits and offered egg food and mealworms/maggots. Vitamins in water for vitd and a couple drops of iodine here and there. Missing NO feathers.

Could it be she doesnt like him anymore? She does go over to the nest alot? I dont touch the nest either.

HELP!

Is it a nest or nest box? Goulds prefer boxes.....Is the cock bird singing? maybe another cock bird singing in the vicinty might spur him? She sounds ready sounds like the cock bird isn't?

its a nest box that they have bred in before. they prefer it to any other. The cock is chasing the hen a bit and singing to her with his chest out and feathers on his head raised whilst facing her. AND he is the one thats always in the nest box and built the nest inside it

What head colour gouldians are they? As last time I heard her beak tip should match her head colour if she is in condition.

If they are a proven bonded breeding pair then it is only a mater of time. sounds like everything else is fine
