Made my first home brew 50yrs ago in a plastic bin, everything was made from the raw ingredients back then which sometimes resulted in a few bottles exploding.
Still make my own, but now use the home brew kit .
Cheers Greg.

Hi, I have tried most of the beers at different times and now mostly brew Coopers Lager, to change the taste I sometimes put in extra yeast. The most important thing is to make sure that all your implements are kept sterile. I tend to make a few batches before it gets too hot, I find it easier to keep the temperature up during brewing than trying to cool it down.
