Hiya Guys :)
just wanted to say hello, I live in Yass new south wales and I would love to get a pair of Gouldian finches to keep in a flight cage i have with a little pair of silver king quails I have ....I'm just wondering if anyone knows of someone from Yass to canberra that might have a pair i could buy please .... I looked in a petshop they were asking a crazy price for them any help would be great Thanks , Kell

I also keep reptiles no frogs now but i had them in the past now its geckos and pythons :)

I'm from Canberra, and I'm sure I could help you rustle up a nice pair of gouldians.
I'll ask around :)
You should come to the next Canberra Finch Club meeting - last tuesday of february. Also I think there's a yass bird club? They might be able to help you as well.

Oh cool any help you can give me would be awesome ... I can only really have a pair here as hubby would have a cow lol ... I think they are so pretty tho ....and I'm not sure about the yass bird club .... i dont get out much as i dont drive hubby works in canberra 6 days a week tho so the last thing he wants to do is drive me to canberra on his day off lol ,....

were you looking for any particular mutation/head colours?

Just looking for a pretty little pair not fussed on head colours or the like .... with bright colour would be nice .... i was after some pretty looking quite birdys to put in with my spoiled little king quail as i cant handle at all loud bird screeching anymore (old age catching up on me) nah i suffer with migraines so i was thinking they might be a good option
