Noticed today my male King Quail has a head injury due to a night fright it looks bad.
Is there anything i can put on the injury to help it heal.

King quail are pretty bloomin tough Harvey, I wouldn't worry too much. Is the quail sitting still all fluffed up, or is it still fairly active?

Have had King quail completely loose the feathers and skin from the top of the head in a brawl (introduction of pair that failed) and the scalped bird healed up and lived happily (just with a different mate) after. Just peace and issolation for a day or 2 was all that was needed.

He seems ok eating and running around the avairy,will the feathers grow back???

Feathers should heal up yes. If the bird looks happy enough then I'd just leave it be. As finchbreeder says, have had birds that look very scrappy but healed up well.
