I think I will go the long way and try to pair her with a not related normal colored male.
Then I intend to pair her with the father. But first of all the bird must come in good breeding condition.

I think recessive pied is more likely than dominant, because only 1 turned up. But as you say, every mutation starts somewhere so dominant is not impossible. Next breeding season I would use her back to Dad and her brothers to unrelated birds. With the view of the following season puting the results of those matings together. Thanks for keeping us updated with pics and info.

Hello!
Now I have chicks from her coming from two cocks.
These chicks are really great and I enjoy seeing them growing.
Primary I saw nothing spectacular.
But then I recogniced on one chick a little white spot on the head.
Strange - what do you mean?

To me bernd the bird looks like aust/yellow blue ,the parents were they double split meaning
split for aust/yelow and split for blue, because these are the birds that i am trying to breed
this year. nice bird you have there good luck whith it.

Yes here in Europe the AY are not seens still now.
Therefore I am wondering what will happen when the eggs hatch from the pairing father with the "pied" daughter.
I still have four inseminated eggs!!!!
