
Big rains for Alice Springs

Somewhere betwwen 100mm and 200mm expexted this week, local flooding ect . Some forecasters saying we could get a years rainfall in 48 hours.

Wow that's alot of rain. What can you do to protect your avieries from that amount of rain/flooding. What's going to happen to the new skink enclosure since they burrow. All the best DB and hope they are wrong about the amount of rain you receive all in one hit.

We've had that here today in Melb (Rowville) it feels like, glad my aviaries are built up but even so the crushed rock is damp for the front 1 metre or so of aviary.djb78 wrote:Wow that's alot of rain. DB it's The Rock I'd love to be seeing / photographing when that happens. You can keep your red mud to yourself though

We got over 50mm rain last night.
It is so humid now its just like Singapore
Now the grass will grow like crazy again but if March is not too hot the paddocks will have great feed right through winter
