Good luck with that _ be careful about flash floods.
It will be awesome for the environment in a week or 3 though.

Wow that's alot of rain. What can you do to protect your avieries from that amount of rain/flooding. What's going to happen to the new skink enclosure since they burrow. All the best DB and hope they are wrong about the amount of rain you receive all in one hit.

We've had that here today in Melb (Rowville) it feels like, glad my aviaries are built up but even so the crushed rock is damp for the front 1 metre or so of aviary.

DB it's The Rock I'd love to be seeing / photographing when that happens. You can keep your red mud to yourself though  . Hope they've cleared the Todd of the residents  .

The Todd could get a flow up  , its hot ,humid and quiet, dead still. The calm before the storm, and its brewing. Red Tailed Blacks hanging around and it smells like rain. Black Honey Eater spotted on Park today, and a few of the nomads starting to arrive is always a good sign , I love it when they turn up. The Budgies i spotted heading north east a few weeks ago are coming back this way. It just smells like a big rain . Bring it on

So you have a boat tied to the front gate just in case. Hope you get just the right amount to make everything sprout.
With no negatives for you and the critters.

We got over 50mm rain last night.
It is so humid now its just like Singapore
Now the grass will grow like crazy again but if March is not too hot the paddocks will have great feed right through winter
