I have heard that some seeds can go rancid easily when sprouting. Has anyone soaked or sprouted the Elenbee greens and grains before?
Cheers
Is Elenbee Greens and Grains OK for Soaking or Sprouting

Hi Aussie_Bengo,
My suggestion would be, give Barry or Terese a call....(easier to get it straight from the horses mouth!)
I was up there today & Barry reccommended a cheaper brand of disinfectant, than a well known branded one, which will do the same thing (same chemicals & percentages.)
So they are always straight forward with their advice.
Cheers

They will give you an honest answer. Gave, Greens and Grains a go today, the critters loved it, never heard such a ruckas, as I did, from them fighting over it. Pleased, I purchased 17 kilo bag. Simply put, awesome stuff!!!!!!

I know that they sell a sprouting mix for canaries that sprouts well.
I have never had a problem with their seed and wouldn't buy anywhere else.
I travel approx 30 kilometres to get my seed from them, usually when I am in the Seven Hills area.

Don't know about soaking or sprouting but I'm growing it in tubs for Green seed that will be given and frozen, shooting very well but I don't know if all has sprouted or just certain types. Barry and Teresa will definitely be able to help in this regard.

Haven't tried sprouting, the Greens and Grains, but have the Clifton mix, without any problem. Sent some of both these products back to America, to my sister and a couple of breeders, and it went over like a charm!
Would like to get about 900 kilos of the Clifton mix, and about 250 Kilos Greens and Grains, sent over there, their seed mixes very impressive, have had little waste.
Don't think the green seed would sprout though, good question.
