Leg banding kits and recommendations ... advice please

Leave them be....dont risk damage or abandonment just for the sake of having a leg ring on them.........You can figure out who belongs to who after they've fledged if you watch them being fed.

Sure, you might get a couple wrong, but you're not causing grave harm to the gene pool.....Without interference, you'll have a better chance of fledging whole clutches ;-)

I have not ever rung a finch prior to it leaving the nest.
To me the risk just isn't worth it,even if you had 2 nests fledge together it wouldn't be that difficult to work out what
belonged to what pair.So be patient and wait.

i leg ring 1st or 2nd day of fledging , as its not hard just a bit of pationce seen who is feeding who and what mum n dad are going down to babys

why were one the topic of leg rings is anyone interested in going halfs in a bulk amount of numbered finch leg rings?? if so pm me
