My birds have reacted in the same way. I've been feeding the green seed morning and late afternoon as the seed tray is empty when I get home from work so the birds are more than happy for a refill! :D

Have only fed it once but my birds were slow to eat were down quickly but unsure but on the other hand i bought some Gouldians from G.Bull and his Gouldians were down and i think just about needed bibs for them. Almost gone before any other birds could get a look in. But the others did take to it in the end.

Mine are taking it OK but the they always follow the longtails in, Gouldians are never first in. They're getting the hang of it though.

Has anyone else noticed a change in droppings since feeding this seed for the first time? My birds seem to be depositing a far waterier and thicker mess around the floor....

they've had green seed before but only freshly harvested from my garden.
