Hello everyone down under, my name is Bob and i live in Yorkshire, England, i have been keeping and breeding birds for 44 years now, the majority of birds i keep are African Estrildids (Waxbills) but i also presently keep and breed a few Painted Firetails and Red Faced Parrotfinches. The breeding season for me is just starting, i continue breeding with various birds untill September then i close down breeding completly. In the U.K i am a member of the Waxbill Finch Society of which i am vice chairman and show & events secretary, i am also a member of the Australian Finch Society (U.K) Although my first priority with my birds is breeding i am very enthusiastic in exhibiting birds at various shows in the U.K and continental europe.
Regards to all Bob

Hi Bob,
It's always interesting to learn how breeders (and birds) in other countries operate. Look forward to your input.

Sam

Hello Ger, hope you are keeping well, i hear you no longer keep Gouldians. Since i met you at Paul De Nils i have only been over once more which was back in 2007, had a few ailments since then and i am not up to travelling that far.
