They sell slingshots with 8mm ball bearings at the markets here.....perfect for scaring cats :silent:

Hi All I warned all my neighbours I was on the cat patroll and to keep puss puss inside at night I caught 32 in a fortnight using 2 possum traps 56 for around 9 months A couple of things I found out about cats ! they dont make good Yabby bait 2 They cant swim in a possum trap BUT they do make good fertilizer with a touch of lead as a biproduct A few neigbours complained but they kept puss puss inside at night I still have minor problems but my trees dont mind Good breading all Bob

Many years ago I was on a mates farm and we were watching a rural gardening show . They were visiting a ladies house somewhere out in the wheat belt and her plants looked amazing, every time the reporter asked how come that plant looks so well her answer was , you dig a hole put a dead animal in it , her garden was lush she must have had a few dead animals , just reminded me of grasswrens cat patrol ....pete

Best vegie garden I ever had grew on dead fish .
What was left after filleting or even whole carp were buried deep enough so the plants grew above them :thumbup:

Well jaY ur longtails came from a good source. Sams got nice Longies. I've bred a few so far. How are they going with all your other birds? Mine are really sweet just keep tO themselves.
