Long Tail was one of the suggestions but daresay without a DNA check will never know for sure. It has a short Zebra type tail and is a 'neat' attractive bird that adds interest to the aviary. It is obviously infertile so have let it have its fun with a with a female Fawn Zebra that it has chummed up with.

Re adding other birds I am looking at adding something as soon as I cull some of the Double Bars and commission the new aviary. Would like a challenge or project like something that needs numbers increased. Have been gathering info on the Aberdeen or Red Crested finch which I have never seen at sales etc but come across in Forum topics. They sound interesting.

I guessed it was you in the posts I have seen. Yes I did "finally". Had to lead up to it given time I spend looking for magazine articles as these things can get addictive and have had digs from "her indoors" about time sitting here scrolling around internet. See you around....
