Anyone here ever bred a half-sider?

It seems to me that if the bird is half of each sex breeding would be unlikely. (Too confused to know if it should chat up Brad or Angie) However if it is all one sex just different colours there would not be any problem. It does not have a mirror.

I wouldn't use them as a permanent feeder, but they look like a good backup for a weekend away situation

I bought mine at the BigW, I think I paid $40. National Geographic Shops I think had them, sometimes even the "$2 Shops" have then. Here in Sydney most times you can find them up at the Flemington Markets.

There are two members here that have had half sider gouldians that I am aware of.The half side was on the head only though.
