They could be young birds takes them a few times to get the hang of things

Yeah they are young birds which is good but it is also bad. Hopefully next round the hen will sit!

Hi,
How well does the safflower keep when put out even in hotter weather. I've heard you should only put out what will get eaten with sprouted rape in case of fowling. Is that the case with sprouted safflower too? Seems like a tough thing to manage.
