This is not a lesson in Philosophy but our eldest son went to work in Holland some years back to discover his roots.
He came back and said that in Holland "people just work and work, and they forget they are gonna die one day".
Within a fortnight he had packed up from here too and moved to Marg
(Margaret River WA) and he lived happily ever after.
