THANKS to Dianne for uploading my pictures to the Forum.
Disregard the date on the photos as the camera Date was not set and at my age it takes me a while to catch up with technology.
GreenFinches can be mixed with any other finches, because they are a very shy bird. They spend most of the day in heavy scrub and are only seen at the feed table.
The young can be heard before they are seen because they have a loud clanking call, when ever they are hungry.
As I said once about the Goldfinch that aviculturalists disrespect them because they are common, also applies to the Greenfinch. More people should have them in their aviaries
because they are good whistlers and also a challenge with their mutations.

To the EXPERTS on this Forum and some off it, YOU WERE RIGHT.
The young Greenfinchs, from the pairings that I had were HENS and not COCKBIRDS.
I have received confirmation today from the LAB, that on double checking their findings, they have have reversed their earlier decision.
I now have 2 hen Lutino Greenfinches, desperately looking for Split Lutino Cocks for next season.
If anyone has any spares please pn me.Thank you.
