finchy and blue cuban sum it up.
Blood lines, environment plus immune system all three lead to the death of these birds.
I habe purchased adults that last but young i bred drop and i consider myself up there with regards to bird care.
Hope you can breed some more this season.

This is starting to turn into a seperate topic but with my own advice regarding looking at current practices and blood lines I've senses had excellent improvement in results.
I will start a another topic once this season is over reporting my results, must say I'm pretty pleased with my efforts and have come to realise that when breeding blues there is only a few things that are a must with success to follow.
They are not as fragile as a lot of people make them out to be.

I admire your optimism, after losing every blue chick.
Do be careful who you believe. There are a small number of highly commercially motivated sellers around, who will spin you a tale for their gain.
I sincerely hope you are right, despite the early evidence. Best of luck
