Thats great, I wish mine would hurry up. Im blaming the slow colouring up on the awful weather we have been getting, lots of rain (excellent in another sense) high winds and cold. Roll on Spring!

Will be a few months yet till they are fully coloured.

Great looking birds. Mine haven't started to colour yet (some flegded in March). I am beginning to think its like the watched pot never boils thing, a watched gouldian never colours up.

Thanks for all the comments on my first lot of youngsters.

My first clutch of three fledged in February and Im lucky if they have one coloured feather between them, but they sing like they are auditioning for the opera! I think they are all RH. Others like the one BH mentioned in the pic fledged in May have heaps of colour, dont sing or display much though. My YH's colour up a lot smoother looking than the blacks.
Still a long way to go for all of them yet.
