Great guys. Thanks for you input.
I was going to ask if there was a sound archive of finch song. I did find a top forty mp3 bird calls, but it ranged from Maggies to Kookaburas.
Glad to hear that you can mix birds in aviary successfully. I've been told that if keeping Java sparrow, which I am keen on doing, that they don't like other birds in there with them.
Off to You tube for a listen.
