After some further thought, i realised you could potentially also try test-mating to a visual pied. If all the offspring are pied, then you will know for sure he's just a pied with unusual markings. if you get any un-pied offspring, then theres a good chance something interesting is going on...

Thanks for the thought. I have put the bird with a normal fawn female into a breeding cage already to see what the outcome will be if they have babies. Once that complete I'll also try him with a pied like you said and see how that goes. Thankyou :D

Hard to tell with the light on him, Is he a Grey as Dilute Blues will and can be washed out that way on the wings. Could be a poorly coloured Pied but is to perfect over the wings.

its really weird his parents were a fawn male and a chestnut flanked white fawn female and i dont know how i got this out of them

I would say he is dilute blue pied, but is a bit hard to tell with the photo.

I havnt even heard of dilutes in zebras or is it like the normal one?

Update
The male I have in the pictures has been paired up with a young fawn hen a few weeks ago and now they have laid their first egg today, so hopefully it should Not be too long before finding out what colours I get. :D
